Police Complaint Case Code INF-002: Rezki Ahmaliansyah (English Edition)
This post summarises Laporan Aduan Masyarakat Case Code INF-002, a draft police complaint I helped prepare for submission to Bareskrim Polri, on behalf of Ms. Dania Aurellia, over unsolicited Direct Messages sent to her on Instagram by an account she attributes to Mr. Rezki Ahmaliansyah, together with his law firm's public legal notice in response. It is a complaint document, not a police report that has been filed, a court finding, or a determination of guilt. Mr. Ahmaliansyah has not responded here, and I do not assert that he is guilty of any offence.
What the complaint is about
Ms. Aurellia, a woman who uses the Instagram/Threads account @daniaaurellia, received an unsolicited Direct Message (DM) on Instagram on or around 21 September 2026 from an account she attributes to Mr. Rezki Ahmaliansyah (@rezahmaliansyah). According to the complaint, the message offered to connect her with people who could participate in video sex calls ("VCS") — an unwanted solicitation of sexual activity via electronic means.
When Ms. Aurellia responded sharply ("Are you crazy?"), the account holder claimed it was a mistake. However, the complaint notes that the account holder's own words — stating he was "searching for acquaintances who could do VCS or something" — suggest a systematic search for targets rather than a one-time error. Ms. Aurellia subsequently posted a public warning on Threads/Instagram, naming Mr. Ahmaliansyah and his account, stating that he regularly contacted unknown women with the same solicitation, as a protective notice to others.
The complaint records that Ms. Aurellia and Mr. Ahmaliansyah had no prior relationship, introduction, or contact before the DM.
How the account holder was identified
The complaint identifies the account as belonging to Mr. Rezki Ahmaliansyah from the account handle @rezahmaliansyah and a public Instagram profile. Shortly after Ms. Aurellia's warning went viral, the account was locked and its profile photo removed. I have no independent confirmation of the account holder's identity, and the complaint frames this as Ms. Aurellia's identification, not a proven fact.
The law firm's response and somasi
Rather than address the substance of the allegations, Mr. Ahmaliansyah's law firm, Kantor Hukum Zainuddin, issued a public legal notice on Threads/Instagram (dated 26 September 2026, No. 043/K.HUK/IX/2026) demanding that Ms. Aurellia remove her warning post and threatening a criminal complaint. That legal notice was itself published to the public, drawing over 20,900 views.
Legal basis relied on
The draft complaint cites Indonesia's Sexual Violence Crimes Law (UU TPKS, Law No. 12/2022):
- Art. 5: Conduct a sexual act in a non-physical manner (e.g. via text/DM) directed at the person's body, sexual desire, or reproductive organs with intent to demean them based on sexuality or decency.
- Art. 14(1)(b): Transmit sexual or sexually charged information electronically against the recipient's will, directed at sexual desire.
- Art. 14(1)(c): Use electronic means to hunt or track someone for sexual purposes.
- Art. 15(1)(e): Aggravating factor if the conduct is repeated or directed at more than one person.
The complaint also notes that Art. 14(4) UU TPKS explicitly shields the disclosure of such conduct from criminal liability when made "for the public interest or for self-defence against sexual violence" — which provides a legal basis for Ms. Aurellia's public warning post against any somasi claim.
What is being requested
The draft complaint asks Bareskrim Polri to:
- Accept and register it as a formal police report;
- Summon and question Mr. Rezki Ahmaliansyah over suspected non-physical sexual harassment and/or electronic sexual violence (Art. 5 jo. Art. 14(1)(b) and/or (c) UU TPKS, with possible aggravation under Art. 15(1)(e));
- Investigate whether other victims can be identified from Ms. Aurellia's public warning post;
- Process the complaint according to applicable law as a complaint-only (delik aduan) offence.
Limits of this record
- This is a summary of a draft complaint prepared at a client's request, not a filed police report, and no authority has made a finding.
- The account holder was identified from the Instagram account and the law firm's response; I have not independently verified Mr. Ahmaliansyah's identity, and he may dispute it.
- Quotations are English renderings of an Indonesian-language exchange.
- The evidence of repeated conduct rests partly on Ms. Aurellia's public testimony and comments from other users; independent corroboration would be needed for a solid aggravation count.
