Yudha Okky Pratama and Delegasi: A Neutral Record of a Public Threads Exchange
A limited, evidence-based record of what I posted about Yudha Okky Pratama on Threads, what he replied, and which statements are unverified.
On Threads I replied to a post by the account @okky.prtm. He answered: “Saya ga nanya Anda” (“I wasn’t asking you”). I then posted a series of replies about a person I identified as Yudha Okky Pratama. This article records what those replies said and separates what is documented from what was only my speculation.
Scope and identity note
This article rests on three screenshots of the thread. They associate the handle @okky.prtm with the name Yudha Okky Pratama only through my own statements and a LinkedIn card. I have not independently authenticated account ownership, and he has not confirmed any detail here. The article makes no finding about anyone’s competence, honesty, or the state of any company.
What his reply said
The only statement in the screenshots attributed to @okky.prtm is the short reply above. It shows no position on any claim I later made. Any reading of it beyond “he did not want to engage with me” would be a guess.
What I posted
Below is what my own posts asserted, in my words translated to English.
Identity and background. I wrote that this was Yudha Okky Pratama, a senior of mine at the ITB Informatics alumni association (IAIF) with student ID 13509005. I also wrote that he was an MIT Sloan alumnus, had interned at Amazon, and was CEO of the startup delegasi.co, a Y Combinator company whose website could no longer be reached.
The LinkedIn card. The screenshot I attached shows a public-style profile card reading “Okky Pratama, Financial Clarity for SMBs in Indonesia | MIT MBA”, with the affiliations “Delegasi (YC S22)” and “MIT Sloan School of Management”, and the tagline “Bringing financial clarity to SMEs in Indonesia”. This documents how a profile presented itself at the time of capture. It does not verify the degree, the employment, or the company’s status.
What I speculated
I also asked, in a rhetorical way, several questions that I am labelling here as unverified speculation:
- Whether the company was “diduga pailit” (allegedly bankrupt).
- Why a graduate of MIT Sloan and former Amazon intern would not build a product with market fit.
- Whether he had not received a return offer at Amazon, and whether he moved into product because engineering did not suit him.
I have no evidence for any of these. They were questions and suspicions, not findings. A website being unreachable is consistent with many explanations, and a company closing or pivoting is not misconduct. Readers should not treat any of these points as facts about him.
The MIT Sloan brochure
In one reply I posted a photograph of a brochure from the Asia School of Business, “established in collaboration with MIT Sloan”, listing MBA and specialised master’s programmes. I wrote that I had a business card in his name from MIT Sloan. The photo shows only brochure text. It does not mention him and proves nothing about his enrolment or degree.
Comparing myself to him
In the same thread I contrasted the questions about him with my own record. I said I had received approval from John Rossman, author of Think Like Amazon, for my review of the book’s first five ideas, and I asked what achievement a CEO whose company was allegedly bankrupt could point to.
That comparison was rhetorical and personal. Someone’s standing in an unrelated field does not answer questions about a different person, and I should not have framed it as a contest.
A second person named in the same thread
In the same thread I also tagged @okky.prtm in questions about a different person, Marchel Andrian Shevchenko, asking for help clarifying a claim about a PhD at MIT. The screenshots below are the material I posted.
The post above is a public Instagram feature saying a man from Magelang is studying for a PhD at MIT on a full scholarship.
The card above shows a LinkedIn profile listing a research-student position at MIT from September 2024.
The record above is from PDDikti, the national higher-education database. It lists an undergraduate Informatics programme at Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta, entered in September 2020, with a latest status of active for the 2025/2026 odd semester. My reply asked how a student who had not yet graduated could be doing a PhD at MIT.
These screenshots do not answer that question. An active undergraduate record and a research-student position at another institution are not necessarily in conflict, and I have no evidence of wrongdoing by him. He has not been asked for comment, and I make no claim about him. Okky Pratama is not connected to his situation beyond being tagged by me.

Evidence limitations
Screenshots are not a complete archive. The set contains no platform export, no original URLs for each reply, no hashes made at capture time, and relative timestamps only (“34m”, “14m”, “10m”), so I cannot state exact posting times or rule out deleted or edited replies.
