Operating at the scale of Southeast Asia's leading super app means building systems that must be resilient, low-latency, and capable of handling hundreds of millions of concurrent users. Backend services needed to be extended and maintained with strict performance and reliability guarantees across multiple countries.

Working within the client's engineering organisation, we built and shipped Go microservices deployed on Amazon EKS. Services were designed following distributed systems best practices — stateless, horizontally scalable, and observable. Each microservice was integrated into the client's existing event-driven architecture to serve the full breadth of the platform's features.
