Rahmat Wibowo vs. PT CreateIT Solutions Indonesia and Machrio Achmad Nurhatta (Machi Achmad): A Police Complaint

Rahmat Wibowo vs. PT CreateIT Solutions Indonesia and Machrio Achmad Nurhatta (Machi Achmad): A Police Complaint

This post describes a formal complaint (Aduan Masyarakat) I filed with Polda Metro Jaya on 8 September 2026, naming PT CreateIT Solutions Indonesia, its director, an advocate practicing under the name "Machi Achmad," and his firm as terlapor (reported parties). Under Indonesian criminal procedure, a terlapor is not a tersangka (suspect) or a convicted defendant — filing a complaint is not a finding of guilt. Everything below is my account of what I experienced and what I asked police to investigate. The parties named have not had a chance to respond in this post, and I am not asserting anyone's guilt. Where I did not witness something directly, I've said so ("according to information I received").

This continues two accounts I've already written about this dispute: the branded-account defamation report and the study case on Machi Achmad's conduct. This post covers the formal police complaint that followed.

The contract and its ending

I was engaged under a freelance services agreement (No. PJF-202603001) with PT CreateIT Solutions Indonesia starting 9 March 2026, for four hours of work per day. The contract's Article 11(1) required 30 calendar days' written notice for unilateral termination by either side. On 22 April 2026, my access to work systems and email was cut without notice or explanation. As of my complaint, the notice-period compensation the contract would have required — roughly Rp11,250,000 — had not been paid.

A recruiting-partner account naming me as an "enemy"

According to a screenshot I have, an account using the branding and logo of "Zvoove" — a recruiting-industry partner platform — posted publicly that "our enemy isn't zvoove, it's rahmat," adding that the situation was bad for other Indonesian job candidates' reputations going forward. I don't independently know who controls that account; I filed my complaint asking police to identify the operator and their relationship, if any, to CreateIT Solutions and its director.

The somasi delivery at Sona Topas Tower, 20 May 2026

On 20 May 2026, I went to the office of advocate R. Machrio Achmad Nurhatta — who practices publicly under the name "Machi Achmad" — at Sona Topas Tower in Central Jakarta, to deliver a formal cease-and-desist letter (somasi) in person. According to my account and the documentation I've kept, I was told by building security staff, an office boy, and a person in military uniform not to record anything at the location, and was then walked out of the building. During this, I was addressed over speakerphone by Machi Achmad with a demeaning remark about male anatomy, in front of the people present.

I asked police to investigate whether directing me not to record, combined with being escorted out under those circumstances immediately after delivering a lawful legal notice, meets the threshold for unlawful coercion (pemaksaan) under Indonesia's new Criminal Code (Pasal 448).

A public admission of being "blacklisted" from the building

After that incident, Machi Achmad posted an Instagram Story from his public account (@machi_achmad, roughly 146,000 followers) describing his version of events, including a line stating in writing that I had been "blacklisted" from Sona Topas Tower. I don't have any document from the building's management confirming a formal access ban — the basis for this part of my complaint is Machi Achmad's own public statement. I asked police to look into whether this reflects an actual, ongoing denial of building access following a lawful legal action, and if so, whether that constitutes obstruction of a disability rights holder's access to justice under Indonesia's Disability Rights Law (UU No. 8/2016, Pasal 143 jo. Pasal 145) — I have a documented diagnosis of Bipolar Affective Disorder and ADHD.

References to my mental health

In public Instagram comments, Machi Achmad referenced my bipolar diagnosis in a way intended, in my reading, to discredit my dealings with police investigators. I raised this as part of the same disability-obstruction question above — whether referencing a disability diagnosis to undercut someone's use of the legal process is part of a pattern rather than an isolated remark.

An extortion allegation I say is unfounded, plus a threat

Machi Achmad's account also reposted a third party's claim that I had "terrorized 30+ people" over four months with the alleged aim of getting people fired and extorting Rp100 million to Rp1 billion from people I had sent legal notices to, adding his own commentary and what I read as a direct threat — a line to the effect that any client of his would be barred from paying me and that I would face consequences. I've told police I'm not aware of any police report, court finding, or evidence supporting the extortion claim, and that my relationship with CreateIT Solutions was contractual and my somasi to Machi Achmad's office was a lawful legal step, not extortion. I asked police to evaluate whether repeating and endorsing this claim to a large public following, without a basis Machi Achmad could point to, meets the standard for defamation/slander (Pasal 434 jo. Pasal 441 KUHP Baru; Pasal 27A jo. Pasal 45(4) of the amended ITE Law).

A police-report detail shared publicly

In a further Instagram Story, alongside a photo of a police report receipt from a report Machi Achmad had filed against me, he described in writing what he characterized as my emotional state and references to my family and bipolar condition during my dealings with investigators. I asked police to examine whether disclosing details of an ongoing police matter and my personal circumstances, learned through his role as a party/advocate in overlapping police reports, breaches professional confidentiality obligations under Pasal 443 KUHP Baru — a provision that, per its own terms, can only be pursued at my request as the person whose confidentiality was affected.

Multiple police reports

I noted in my complaint that at least eight police reports have been filed against me by or connected to Machi Achmad, including one relying, as far as I can tell, solely on tagging a social media account. I raised this as part of a broader pattern I asked investigators to consider.

What I asked for

Before filing the complaint, I sent a cease-and-desist letter (Somasi No. 051/SOMASI/RW/IX/2026) on 1 September 2026 to CreateIT Solutions and Machi Achmad, asking for payment of the outstanding contractual amount, removal of the Zvoove-branded post, clarification of any relationship between CreateIT Solutions and Machi Achmad, withdrawal of the police reports against me, and compensation, with a deadline of 4 September 2026. That deadline passed without what I considered an adequate response, which is why I proceeded to file the police complaint on 8 September 2026, asking Polda Metro Jaya to investigate each of the matters above and to clarify the legal relationship, if any, between Machi Achmad's practice and CreateIT Solutions.

I'm not a lawyer. Filing a complaint isn't a finding, and everyone named in it remains a terlapor unless and until an investigation concludes otherwise. I'm documenting this because it's a direct, factual account of a dispute I'm currently pursuing through the proper legal channels, and because I believe the sequence of events is relevant to anyone evaluating it.
