Yao Cong Yeo, MongoDB Solutions Architect: A Block and a Block Back

Yao Cong Yeo is the last person in my AWS essay. My note on him is one sentence: he blocked me when he had an issue, so I blocked him. This post keeps that sentence in proportion.
This article does not claim that Yao Cong Yeo acted improperly. Blocking someone on a personal account is within anyone's rights, and I did the same.
This is my account and my opinion. It is not a finding by any court, regulator or employer. The full list is in the original essay.
Scope and identity note
- Who: the person whose LinkedIn card reads "Yao Cong Yeo", MongoDB Solutions Architect, Singapore, with MongoDB and Singapore Management University listed.
- Sources: one LinkedIn screenshot and my hub essay. I have no screenshot of a block.
- Contact: I do not describe any message or meeting here.
What I observed
- My hub essay says: "Those block me when he have issue and so I also block him". That is my account, with no date.
- The same essay lists MongoDB among companies where I say I have professional issues. Nothing in it ties him to any specific issue.

What the record shows
- The profile card shows a name, a title, a city, an employer and a university.
- My sentence shows what I say happened. It is not corroborated.
What I cannot say
- That he blocked me. A removed or hidden profile can look the same, as I noted in another record.
- What the "issue" was, or whether it concerned me at all.
- That MongoDB or its colleagues were involved.
- That a block, if it happened, was unprofessional.
Where I am probably wrong
I treated a block as a statement about me when it may have had nothing to do with me. Blocking back was my choice too, and it does not make either of us right.
