Dinda Maharani Aprilia and the "~Dinda Maharani" Account Removal at a Telkom AI Center Event: What the Screenshots Show

A WhatsApp notice names the account that removed me from a Telkom-branded event group on 8 November 2026. This article separates what that notice proves from what it does not.
This is my account as a participant. It is not a finding by any authority, and it does not accuse the account holder of any wrongdoing.
Scope and identity note
The only source is one screenshot of the group "AI Connect Bandung: The Founders' Trinity". It shows the display name "~Dinda Maharani". A display name is not an identity. I have not verified who controls that account, whether the name is real, or whether it belongs to any person with a role at the organisers. In my complaint to Telkom I suspected, without proof, that the account belongs to Dinda Maharani Aprilia, whose public LinkedIn profile states a role at Telkom AI Center. That match rests on the name and affiliation only, and I have asked Telkom to verify it. If the account belongs to someone else, or the holder acted on another person's instruction, this article should be read accordingly.
What the screenshot shows
- At 13.11 I posted a public video link about the event speaker's credentials.
- At 13.12 I posted three short follow-up messages. All three show a red "not sent" mark.
- The group shows the system notice "~Dinda Maharani removed you", then "You can't send messages to this group because you're no longer a member."
WhatsApp only lets group administrators remove other members. So the notice indicates that the account was an administrator at that moment. It does not say who was typing, or on whose decision.
What it does not show
- The identity of the account holder.
- Whether the removal was a personal decision, a team decision or an instruction from the organisers.
- Whether any rule on moderation existed, or was announced in the group.
- Whether any warning was sent privately. I received none that I can see.
- Why I was removed. The screenshot shows timing, not motive.
The fair reading for the account holder
My follow-up messages were blunt and unannounced, sent into a live group during an event. An administrator who removes a member to keep a session orderly is doing ordinary moderation. I do not say that was improper. My concern is narrower: a sourced warning about a speaker met removal, with no reply that I know of.
What I asked for
In my report to the Telkom Integrity Line I asked Telkom to establish who made the decision and on what basis, and to preserve the group history. I did not ask for any penalty. See what I asked Telkom to do and the full sequence of events.
Right of reply and correction policy
The holder of the account shown as "~Dinda Maharani", and Dinda Maharani Aprilia if the account is hers, are invited to send a response, correction or added context, including who made the decision and why. A substantive response may be published alongside this article, subject to reasonable editing for privacy, safety and relevance. If reliable evidence shows that any factual statement here is wrong, I will correct it and note the change.
